Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) is a gentle rhythmic massage technique that stimulates the lymphatic system to promote natural drainage or fluid. It was developed in the 1800s but not brought to the U.S. until the 1980s to help with lymphedema and cancer patients. However, MLD has since been proven to help with a variety of general wellness and post medical recovery treatments.
